Saudi Arabia will host a peace summit organized by Ukraine in August.

The conference will be held in the Red Sea port city of Jeddah.

It will include Ukraine as well as Brazil, India, South Africa and other countries.

Russia has not been invited to the summit.

High-level officials from the administration of US President Joe Biden are also expected to attend.

The talks will take place on August 5 and 6 and around 30 countries will participate.

Saudi Arabia and Ukraine maintain neutral relations and stand with Ukraine will be supported.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has decided to attend the conference.

The talks could also help raise the profile of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

The next step after the conference is planned in Copenhagen in June.
